Jam, Jelly, and Canning

For many years Martha Garcia, Charles’ mother made jams and jellies in a small two person company. She also preserved many of the fruits and vegetables grown in her garden. Martha passed much of this knowledge to Linda Garcia, Charles’ wife. After several years both Linda and Charles became master jam and jelly makers with several county fair blue ribbons and best of show awards to prove it. Join us for a fun lecture (unfortunately you can’t be here to taste their wares) on the finer points of food preservation.
